To help you get started with using WatchSEO for your Search Engine Optimization activities, here is a quick walkthrough of the key features of WatchSEO. What is WatchSEO?

RankQuest WatchSEO plays a vital role in your day to day SEO activities. Get as many tools as you require in the form of Gadgets and get the results from all the tools with the single click. All you have to do is just create a page with necessary URL.

1. How to add a new page?
Enter the URL to be tracked and each URL should have its unique Page Name.  The page will be identified by the unique page name.
Add Page
Click Analyze and the Url will be analyzed whether it is crawlable or not. The robots.txt file of the URL will be analysed for this purpose.

Click Finish to complete the process.

2. How to add Gadgets?
Click Add Gadget link in the Home page.It will take you to the gadget view.Click Add Gadget to add gadgets one by one.

After addition of necessary gadgets. Click Finish button so that it takes you to the home page.
Get the output of the gadgets added in the home page. For further addition of new pages, click "Add Gadget" in the right corner of the home and you will enter into gadget view.
Back Home

Finally click "Back to Home" and the gadgets are added to the Home page.

3.What is a duplicate page?
Add another URL, with the same set of gadgets available in the present URL.
Analyze
You can also add or delete gadgets with the existing set of gadgets. Select/deselect the check box to add or delete the gadgets.

Finally click finish button. The new page is added with a set of Gadgets.

4.How to delete gadgets from a page?
In the home page, each of the Gadgets will have close buttons.

Click on the close button for the gadget to be removed from the page.

5. How to delete a page?
You can delete the page by clicking in the "Delete Page" option in the right corner of the home page.

The current page with the gadgets configured will be removed.

6. Is there any limitations in the period of usage?
Yes, The login  created by a user is valid only for certain period. After that you have to extend your account.

7.What is Refer a friend option?
The refer a friend option helps your friend to know about WatchSEO services. To refer a friend,just enter the E-mail Id of your friend and send the mail.

8. How to change my password?
To change your password just click on the settings link in the top right corner of the home page.

9. How to generate PDF report?
Add atleast one Gadget for PDF link to be activated. The PDF link is in the right corner of Home page near Schedule reports.

Click on the link and the PDF report is generated.

10. I have signed up yet my account is not activated. Why?
After you Sign Up, the Authentication approval mail will be sent your EmailId . After you received a mail , you can use your username and password for Sign In.

11. I got an alert message "The robots.txt of this domain doesn't allow crawling of the page" - What does this mean?
Each site has a robots.txt file to restrict crawlers. The pages which should not be crawled by search engines or any crawlers for security purposes will be in the robots.txt file. So if the error message occurs the URL entered cannot be crawled. The only option is to remove the file from robots.txt and try again.

12. I got an alert message "Unable to find the URL" - What does it mean?
The URL given does not exist. The URL might tend to a broken link. Please verify whether the link works.

13. How to schedule my reports?
Click on the Alerts & Reports link, near the PDF link.
Schedule
It comprises Alert configuration and Report Configuration.
Alert Configuration
Alerts will be sent through E-mail when the conditions below are satisfied by your URL. The Alert will be checked daily and will be sent only if the condition is satisfied.
A Alert configuration page will appear where you have to fill up the Alert Name.Select the URL to be monitored, schedule type,Alert Type and Alert conditions.

Click save to get the alerts daily to your Email.
Report Configuration
Schedule reports in the form of pdf which will be mailed to your Mail ID. This report will have details about the gadgets selected for the specified URL.
A Report configuration page will appear where you have to fill up the the Report Name(within 20 characters).Select the URL to be monitored. The report type, schedule and Email-Id will be automatically filled by default.

Click save to schedule the pdf reports daily to your Email.
